The Coco Social Fund and Coco Development teams joined forces with a group of our incredible volunteers for a very special mission: Coco Kids Club Vol. II. Our destination? The bright and energetic Yayasan TK Widya Santhi Kumara in the heart of Kaba-Kaba, Tabanan.

When you’re dealing with preschoolers, you have to bring your A-game. There’s no room for dry lectures; it’s all about high energy, big smiles, and the kind of fun that leaves everyone (including us!) feeling inspired.

Fun as the Ultimate Teacher

At TK Widya Santhi Kumara, we believe that the most profound lessons are learned through play. Our “curriculum” for the morning was simple: unfiltered fun. We dove into activities designed to spark creativity and movement. Whether it was coloring or simple games, the goal was to show these little ones that learning isn’t just a requirement, it’s an adventure. Watching a preschooler’s face light up as they master a new game is a reminder that the simplest moments often carry the most impact.

The Power of the Community

Kaba-Kaba has a soul of its own, and the warm welcome we received from the teachers and students at the Yayasan made our work easy.

We also have to give a massive shout-out to our volunteers. Their energy is the “secret sauce” of the Coco Kids Club. They didn’t just show up; they dove in headfirst, becoming playmates, mentors, and masters of laughter for a few unforgettable hours.

Coco Kids Club Vol. II was proof that when we combine resources, people, and a little bit of playfulness, we can create something beautiful. We left Kaba-Kaba with tired feet but very full hearts.

To the kids and teachers of TK Widya Santhi Kumara: thank you for having us! You reminded us that while we are busy building for tomorrow, the most important work is happening right now, in the smiles of our children.
