The first-ever Cepaka Fest 2025 was more than just a festival; it was a vibrant display of what happens when a community comes together with a shared purpose. Created by COCO Development Group, this event was designed to celebrate the rich culture of Bali while highlighting the importance of sustainability, creativity, and togetherness.
From morning until night, the festival grounds were filled with families, travelers, and residents, all gathered to enjoy local performances, discover handmade crafts, and engage with educational booths focused on the future of our village.
The Heartbeat of the Village: Local Performances
The highlight of the festival was undoubtedly the performances from the village. From traditional dances to local musical talent, the stage was a showcase of the incredible artistry found right here in Cepaka. Seeing our neighbors, from the children to the elders, share their gifts with the community brought the “spirit of Bali” to life in a way that words cannot describe.
Empowering the Next Generation
At the heart of the festival was the energy of the village youth. We believe in involving the young generation of Cepaka in everything we do. By making the local youth an active part of the event’s organization and activities, we are helping foster the leaders of tomorrow and ensuring that the spirit of the village stays vibrant and forward-thinking.
Supporting Local Business & A Circular Economy
To support the entrepreneurial spirit of our neighbors, the festival featured a variety of local tenants from Cepaka. By providing a platform for village vendors to showcase their products and food, we are helping circulate support directly back into the local economy. It was a joy to see our neighbors thrive and share their talents with a wider audience.
A Commitment to a Clean Bali
A festival about sustainability must walk the talk. To ensure we left the land as beautiful as we found it, we collaborated with ecoBali Recycling for professional waste management. Together, we ensured that the festival remained a “clean event,” educating attendees on the importance of recycling and responsible waste disposal in real-time.
Giving Back: Supporting the Sumatera Flood Victims
True community spirit doesn’t stop at our village borders. In the spirit of solidarity, 100% of the ticket proceeds from Cepaka Fest 2025 were donated to the victims of the floods in Sumatera. We believe that by gathering in celebration, we can also provide hope and relief to those facing difficult times elsewhere in Indonesia.
