Where It All Began: Our Very First Donation with Badung Peduli

Delivering Care and 200 Food Packages to Sembung Village, Mengwitani.

September 2025 marks the real beginning of the COCO Social Fund story. It was the month we officially launched our mission to give #BACKTOBALI, starting with our very first donation event in Sembung Village, Mengwi. We didn’t want to just start small; we wanted to start with a partnership that could truly make a difference.

For this debut outreach, we joined forces with the Badung Peduli initiative. It was an honor to have our first official act of service supported by the Chairperson of TP PKK Badung, Ibu Putu Rasniathi Adiarnawa. Together with the Pemkab Badung team, we were able to provide 200 essential food packages to local families, marking the first of many steps we plan to take for this island.

Because this was our first time on the ground, seeing the community come together was incredibly moving. The event wasn’t just about the food packages; it was a full day of social service, including free medical check-ups and dedicated support for the elderly and people with disabilities. Seeing the smiles and the relief on people’s faces gave our team a clear vision for the future. It showed us exactly why we started this fund in the first place.

At COCO Social Fund, we believe that to grow, you have to start by standing with the people around you. This first donation in September 2025 was more than just a giveaway, it was our promise to Bali.

We are so proud that our journey began in Sembung, and we are more motivated than ever to keep showing up for the families who make this island so resilient.
