Canggu has never seen anything like this before. It was absolute winning
We took on one of Bali’s busiest hubs—an area facing a massive plastic situation—and we completely crushed it. Coco Social Fund, Bless (a wonderful CSR initiative by Aura Wellness Resort) and RB Respect, a community brotherhood led by the prominent Tabanan figure and DPRD member, I Gusti Ketut Artayasa, S.Sos. (familiarly known as Ngurah Bobby) joined forces for THE SWEEP: A clean day across Bali. Guided by the legendary tagline, “WE CLEAN WHAT WE LOVE,” we didn’t just do a standard cleanup. We staged a total takeover for the environment.

An Absolute Crowd: +150 Incredible People!
Starting at 3:00 PM on the dot, a massive, beautiful crowd of over 150 elite volunteers and eco-warriors assembled. Nobody has a crowd like this. We didn’t stop until just before sunset, completely sweeping the coastal routes from the beaches all the way inland:
- Team 1 (The Nelayan Route): Started at Nelayan Beach and cleared the busy pathways leading up to the Kantor Perbekel Canggu.
- Team 2 (The Batu Bolong Stretch): Charged down the iconic Batu Bolong Beach road, collecting litter all the way to the Kantor Perbekel Canggu.
- Team 3 (The Munduk Catu Hub): Moved from Munduk Catu Beach through the heart of Canggu’s bustling streets, finishing at the Coco Development Office.
- Team 4 (The Batu Mejan Trail): Covered the beautiful coastal stretch from Batu Mejan Beach, wrapping up their haul at the Coco Development Office.
The Numbers Are Huge: 188.5 kg and Counting!
The results? Tremendous. Phenomenal. We intercepted 188.5 kg of plastic trash right then and there. When you look at the sheer volume of bags piled up before sunset, we are talking about a massive, beautiful impact. Every single kilogram counts, and our team delivered big time.
Building Bridges and Tri Hita Karana
This wasn’t just about picking up plastic; it was about common responsibility and building a massive bridge between corporate leadership and local community action. This is the ultimate corporate social responsibility.
By cleaning up Canggu’s streets, we put the ancient Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana into perfect action. We are talking about the ultimate harmony:
- With Nature: Restoring the environment to its absolute finest state.
- With the Divine: Honoring the beautiful island we’ve been given.
- With Humanity: Bringing 150+ people together as one powerful unit.
