November 2025 marked a historic turning point for the community of Cepaka. It was the month we officially launched the Cepaka Smart Village initiative, a vision aimed at proving that rural traditions and modern innovation can thrive side-by-side.

This launch wasn’t just about installing technology; it was about laying the foundation for a sustainable rural development model that puts the people first. By integrating safety, environmental care, and education into the fabric of the village, we are working to ensure that Cepaka isn’t just keeping up with the world, but leading the way for villages across Bali.

The Pillars of a Smart Village

What does a “Smart Village” actually look like? For us, it’s built on four essential pillars:

• Technology & Connectivity: Creating a digitally connected community where information is accessible and local voices are heard.
• Community Safety: Strengthening village security and response times—including our dedicated Emergency Car Unit to ensure every resident feels protected.
• Environmental Care: Implementing real-world solutions like our waste-to-fuel pyrolysis system to keep the village green and the irrigation channels clean.
• Empowered Education: Providing a space at the Coco Learning Center where the next generation can learn the skills they need for a modern economy.

Collaboration is Our Strength

The launch of the Cepaka Smart Village would not have been possible without the incredible collaboration of our local leaders and the constant support of the residents. This initiative belongs to the people of Cepaka. It is a collective effort to build a village that is modern and efficient, yet remains deeply rooted in the values of Gotong Royong (mutual cooperation).
