Small Acts, Big Impact: Sharing Kindness and Care on the Streets of Bali

Share

In the spirit of togetherness and community support, the Coco Social Fund, in collaboration with the Coco Development, spent yesterday reaching out to those who keep our community moving.

Sometimes, the most meaningful changes aren’t the biggest ones, they are the simple acts of care that show our neighbors they aren’t alone.

Fueling the Community: Takjil Distribution

As the sun began to set, our team gathered to distribute Takjil to those in need within our local neighborhood. Sharing a meal to break the fast is a beautiful tradition, and being able to provide that small moment of refreshment for our community members is a core part of what the Coco Social Fund stands for.

Supporting the Heroes of the Road

Beyond the shared meals, we wanted to address a very practical challenge faced by those who work outdoors every day. We distributed raincoats to “ojek online” (ride-sharing) drivers, the hardworking individuals who navigate the streets in all kinds of weather to serve the public.

Rain or shine, these drivers are always on the go. We hope these raincoats provide a bit of comfort and protection, allowing them to continue their work safely and dryly.

Building a More Caring Community

These steps may seem small, but we believe that simple kindness is the foundation of a strong, resilient community. This activity serves as a reminder to all of us that sharing and supporting one another is not just a seasonal gesture, but a vital part of building a more compassionate society.

We are grateful for the opportunity to give back, and we hope this inspires others to look for small ways to help those around them.
