True change is rarely the result of a single giant leap; instead, it is built through the steady accumulation of small, intentional steps. This week, the COCO Social Fund team had the pleasure of participating in the Green Movement at GWK Cultural Park—a vibrant community space where ideas, innovation, and collaboration meet to shape a more sustainable future for Bali.
Bridging the Gap Between Discussion and Action
Partnering once again with our technical mentors at Get Plastic Indonesia, we participated in an interactive session designed to demystify sustainability. Rather than focusing on abstract theories, the dialogue centered on practical waste management and eco-conscious practices that can be integrated immediately into both daily life and business operations.

For us, this event was more than just a gathering; it was a listening room. We heard from local entrepreneurs, residents, and environmental advocates, all of whom share a common goal: ensuring that Bali remains a thriving, resilient home for generations to come.
Sustainability as a Daily Practice
At the COCO Social Fund, we believe that “sustainability” shouldn’t be a buzzword or a grand corporate discourse. It is a set of consistent, tangible actions. Whether it is how we manage organic waste at our Coco Learning Center or how a business chooses to handle its plastic footprint, the power lies in the consistency of the effort.

The Green Movement at GWK reminded us that when we align our individual actions with a collective vision, we create a momentum that is impossible to ignore.
Moving Forward Together
We want to extend our gratitude to the organizers at GWK and the team at Get Plastic Indonesia for fostering a space where collaboration takes center stage. We left the event feeling inspired and, more importantly, ready to turn these discussions into further progress on the ground in Cepaka.

Because in the end, the planet doesn’t need a few people doing sustainability perfectly, it needs millions of us doing it imperfectly, but with absolute commitment.
